Coach Ralf Rangnick is still trying to perfect the Manchester United squad and some players will have to make sacrifices.
Eric Bailly could be leaving Manchester United this month. According to Sport Witness, United came up with the idea to let Bailly leave in the January transfer window.
The Ivory Coast international is currently absent while playing in the CAN Cup. Coach Ralf Rangnick is not worried about Bailly’s absence.
United are said to be preparing to negotiate a loan deal with Bailly, with both AC Milan and Newcastle showing interest in the defender. Bailly signed a new contract with the Red Devils last April but has made just seven appearances this season in all competitions.
Bailly’s last appearance was in a 3-1 win over Burnley in the Premier League. However, he got injured and was replaced by Raphael Varane.
AC Milan have expressed an interest in the 27-year-old and have been in contact with the defender over the years. They need to replenish their defense since Simon Kjaer suffered an injury that kept him out for the rest of the season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan wants to borrow Bailly and is ready to attach a buy-out clause. Meanwhile, Bailly is said to be completely comfortable with leaving Manchester in this transfer window.
