Neymar is back, ready to play with PSG against Real Madrid.

The PSG side believes that Neymar will be present in the first leg of the 1/8 Champions League round of 16 against Real Madrid, taking place at the Park of the Princes on February 15.

On Wednesday, Neymar appeared in the team’s training session.

After that, the former Barcelona player separated to work separately with the fitness coach.

According to L’Equipe, Neymar will not attend the match at Lille’s field this weekend, as well as the meeting with Rennes on 11/2.

Neymar – who celebrates his 30th birthday on February 5 – wants to recover 100% of his fitness for the fight with Real Madrid.

The last time Neymar played with PSG was on November 28 last year, in a 3-1 victory over Saint-Etienne.

In that match, he suffered a serious injury and left in the 88th minute.

Since September 20, 2021, Neymar has only scored one goal for PSG (double against Bordeaux, November 7).

Neymar has suffered many injuries since the beginning of the season, making his performance unstable. He has only scored 3 goals in Ligue 1 and has not yet scored on the Champions League playground.
