Manchester United’s Premier League season took a turn for the worse as they suffered a humiliating 0-4 defeat to Brighton on Saturday night. Ralf Rangnick’s side was guided by goals from Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, Pascal Gross and Leandro Trossard at the Amex Stadium. The loss means sixth-placed Manchester United no longer has a chance to qualify for the Champions League for the fifth time in 30 seasons. After the crushing defeat of Manchester United, Kevin Pietersena Chelsea fan, took to Twitter to troll fellow cricketers and Man United supporters Yuvraj Singh.

The duo engaged in a hilarious back-and-forth after the former British cricketer angered Yuvraj.

Pietersen started it all by tweeting: “If anyone knows where @YUVSTRONG12 is, please let him know I’m thinking of him at this terrible time…!”

“Thank you! I’m thinking of you in the championship tournament too.?? But I agree that this is unacceptable,” Yuvraj replied.

The pair then continued to back their teams with Pietersen gaining the upper hand thanks to Chelsea’s better performances over the past few seasons.

With 58 points and just one game left, United’s fifth consecutive loss means they will end up with the lowest point total in the Premier League era.

“It was a bad performance,” Rangnick said.
