Erling Haaland is expected to take a major turn in his career, taking another step this summer in his quest to become one of the best players in the world.
Currently Real Madrid, Barca, Man City, MU, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern, … are said to be lining up to sign Haaland when his €75 million release clause with Dortmund comes into effect in this summer transfer.
In a recent interview with ESPN, when asked, Haaland did not hesitate to choose 3 players that he considers the best in the world.
“Top 3 in the world, for me Robert Lewandowski is number one, second is Karim Benzema and Messi is third.”
Lewandowski and Messi both share the highest individual honors this season. However, in the Golden Ball award that Messi won, it was controversial because many people thought that the Bayern Munich striker deserved more.
In The Best FIFA 2021, Lewandowski was honored after narrowly 4 points ahead of Messi.
Haaland also said that there are too many rumors about his future, but he himself does not want to say much and wants to focus on playing on the pitch.
